Abstract

Low self-esteem is one of the problems experienced by orphanage adolescents. This study aims to describe adolescent self-confidence in terms of aspects of self-esteem, self-competence and feelings towards others. This research included in quantitative descriptive research. The study population was foster children in the Aisyyah Orphanage in Koto Tangah Branch, Padang, totaling 45 people. The sample uses purposive sampling. The results showed the level of adolescent confidence in the Aisyiyah Orphanage was in the moderate category. It was seen from the ability to judge themselves, comfort themselves, achieve perceived success, ability to deal with problems, problem-solving abilities, and feelings of being accepted by others, who were in the medium category, and indicators of feeling respected by others in the low category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of children's numeracy skills through modified congklak games. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects were 15 students of the Generation of West Pasaman Kindergarten. The time used in this study was 2 months, from July to August 2018. The study was conducted in 2 cycles. Data collection is done by observation and documentation study. Data were analyzed by percentage techniques. The results of the study on the implementation of the first cycle of the first meeting until the third meeting showed an increase in numeracy skills in children. After the second cycle of the first meeting until the third meeting, there was an increase in the numeracy skills of children, especially in counting 1-10, distinguishing the concept of many and few and summing up simply. After being given action on sikulus I and cycle II, it can be concluded that the ability of child counting can be improved by a haughty game of modification.y of child counting can be improved by a haughty game of modification.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of guidance and counseling students who feel anxious in preparing a essay. Anxiety is an unpleasant emotion that is characterized by worries and helplessness towards something that will happen in the future. The purpose of the reasearch was to describe the level of anxiety of guidance and counseling students in compiling the essay. Type of research is descriptive. The research subjects were 27 students. Data were analyzed by percentage techniques. The research findings reveal the level of anxiety of guidance and counseling students in compiling the essay is in the high category.

Abstract

This research uses Classroom Action Research conducted in Pertiwi Kajai Kindergarten. This research was conducted for 2 months, namely as many as 2 cycles, namely cycle I consisted of 3 meetings and cycle II consisted of 3 meetings. Data collection with observations, interviews, and documentation were analyzed by percentage techniques. The results of observations on the initial conditions indicate that children's scientific abilities are still low. The implementation of the first cycle of the first meeting until the third meeting showed an increase in children's scientific abilities, but had not been able to reach the KKM so the second cycle was carried out. After the second cycle, the first meeting until the third meeting shows a significant increase in children's scientific abilities, especially in the aspect of children, can practice how to cook from the ingredients to be used. Based on these studies it can be concluded that there is an increase in children's scientific abilities through experimental methods about sago flour in Pertiwi kajai Kindergarten, West Pasaman.

Abstract

In order to carry out their duties and responsibilities, a teacher is required to have certain abilities and skills. These abilities and skills are part of the teacher's professional competence. To make the teacher as a professional, it is necessary to carry out continuous and continuous coaching, and to make the teacher a workforce that needs to be considered, valued and recognized for professionalism. Teacher performance will be good if the teacher has done the elements that consist of loyalty and high commitment to the task of teaching, mastering and developing learning materials, discipline in teaching and other assignments, creativity in teaching, collaboration with all school members, leadership that student role models, good personality, honest and objective in guiding students, and responsibility for their duties. In addition to performance, the motivation of teachers to carry out their duties and responsibilities is also important for efforts to improve the learning process that will improve the quality of graduates in the school. This research is a school action research subject of 12 teachers. This study consisted of two cycles. The results of the study show that the supervision of the principal can increase teacher motivation and performance in SD Negeri 04 Talaok, District of Bayang, South Coastal District.

This research was conducted for 2 months, namely as many as 2 cycles, namely cycle I consisted of 3 meetings and cycle II consisted of 3 meetings. The results of observations in the initial conditions showed that children's scientific abilities were still low. The implementation of the first cycle of the first meeting to the third shows an increase in children's scientific abilities, but has not yet reached the KKM so that the second cycle is carried out. After the second cycle, the first meeting until the third meeting saw a significant increase in children's scientific abilities, especially in terms of children's abilities. Based on these studies it can be concluded that there is an increase in children's scientific abilities through the Science approach by playing Color Water at Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfal Kajai Kindergarten, Regency of West Pasaman.

Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan gambaran kemampuan siswa setelah mengikuti proses belajar mengajar dalam rentangan waktu tertentu. belajar itu sendiri merupakan suatu proses dari seseorang yang berusaha untuk memperoleh suatu bentuk perubahan perilaku yang relatif menetap. Salah satu faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi adalah kondisi lingkungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa, (2) untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi lingkungan keluarga, dan (3) untuk menguji hubungan antara kondisi lingkungan keluarga dengan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif dan korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini siswa SMAN 4 Kota Solok yang terdaftar pada semester Januari-Juni tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dan sampel sebanyak 180 siswa yang dipilih dengan Proposional Stratified Random Sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuisioner Kondisi Lingkungan Keluarga dengan reliabilitas 0,717 dan hasil ledger nilai siswa SMAN 4 Kota Solok semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Data dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif dan teknik Pearson Product Moment. Temuan penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa: (1) kondisi lingkungan keluarga siswa berada pada kategori rendah, (2) hasil belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang, (3) dan terdapat hubungan negative yang signifikan antara kondisi lingkungan keluarga dengan hasil belajar siswa dengan koefisien korelasi 0,219 dengan taraf signifikan 0,000.

Abstract

Discipline is the most important thing for students to succeed in learning. Therefore, students are expected to have high self-control in order to avoid negative behavior. The purpose of this study was to describe behavioral control, cognitive control and decision control of students in carrying out discipline. This research is a descriptive study, the entire population of students of class X and XI in SMKN 1 Kotanopan and as many as 260 samples obtained by 158 students. This research instrument was a questionnaire. Research findings reveal student’s self-control in carrying out discipline in SMKN 1 Kotanopan been good. Suggested to the Guidance and Counseling teacher to provide service and develop programs to improve student’s self-control.
